Silver Sircus create a dreamscape of spectral beauty with a mixture of songs & spoken word pieces celebrating all things dark & shadowy.
Formerly of celebrated Brisband ISIS, vocalist/performer Lucinda Shaw and composer/percussionist James Lees combine drums, piano and double bass with soaring vocals and electronic soundscapes to evoke a lush, theatrical, darkly glamorous David Lynchian atmosphere, equal parts sinister, eerie, joyful & hopeful. Performing material from their two recent CD releases Sovereignty and Dark Back Garden, Silver Sircus will also perform new material destined for their next album, due in 2009.
