Winning American Hearts and Minds 'An Australian Tribute to an American Sweetheart'

During the late1930s Nelson Eddy was the world’s highest paid singer, a crown he only lost to Frank Sinatra after more than a decade. Eddy’s glorious velvety baritone and engaging stage presence catapulted him from America’s opera and concert stages to the hallowed film studios of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. His romantic lead pairing with established movie star Jeanette MacDonald took both their careers to stellar heights.
Brisbane singer Chris Herden pays tribute to this great artist with a collection of Nelson Eddy’s finest songs and duets from the hit film musicals New Moon, The Chocolate Soldier, Rosalie, Sweethearts and more. Also stars Alice Barbery.
